All things considered, a good weekend, finished with first competition run of the year, Children’s Cancer Run 2012 - ~4/5 miles, 38 minutes.

i’ve been really busy. really quite enjoying my new job and trying to not waste away the nights.
after three years running, today i learned that sometimes it’s nice to just go for a run for the sake of enjoying running. put away the nike+, put aside the pb’s, and just enjoy a run along the coast with just your thoughts and some 1990’s beats.

27-mile hike over the north east hills at the weekend absolutely ruined my feet but a nice achievement nonetheless when some of the views are as empty, quiet and peaceful as this.
