You know, it’s got to be pretty heartening and flattering for Henry Ian Cusick that, even though he’s only been in like half of the episodes of Lost, Desmond is every single person’s favorite character. If every one else died violently, set on fire, with hot pokers covered with ants and locusts stabbing through their eyes, but Desmond got out okay, and sailed around the world with just Penny and baby Charlie forever, I would consider that a satisfactory ending to Lost.
